ABOUT THE POSITION:
Urban Dove Team Charter School seeks a highly detail-oriented, motivated, and efficient Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of the school. The Operations Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Operations and collaborate with students, staff, and families to ensure the campus runs smoothly and effectively.
ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION:
Urban Dove Team Charter School (UD Team) is a distinctive network of sports-based high schools catering to over-aged, under-credited youth. We fuse a robust academic curriculum with sports-based youth development, ensuring our graduates receive a diploma, a stepping stone for higher education, and essential job skills.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and maintain a warm, welcoming environment for all students, families, staff, and visitors
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations to support Instructional Staff, Student Support Services, and Sports-Based Youth Development (SBYD) teams
- Monitor and enforce safety policies and procedures, including supervision and support of School Aide staff
- Oversee online maintenance requests and coordinate with janitorial services to ensure timely follow-up
- Provide daily supervision and scheduling of School Aides for hall duty, lunch duty, dismissal, and special events
- Assist with the coordination and management of the OPS Ambassador Program
- Partner with the Operations Manager and Director of Operations to implement systems that support teaching and administrative teams
- Support and help coordinate school-wide special events, including those outside of regular school hours
- Manage coordination of school mailings and large printing jobs in collaboration with Operations leadership
- Supervise maintenance technicians and external contractors; ensure facility cleanliness and upkeep
- Manage receiving, verification, and delivery of supplies and packages to appropriate departments
- Serve as liaison between Operations and Student Support Services
- Collaborate with SSS Program Assistant to manage community service projects
- Co-facilitate restorative circles and mediations
- Respond to incident codes and student referrals as needed
- Associate's degree or successful completion of business/secretarial training; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3 – 5 years of experience in education preferred
- Knowledge of office equipment such as computers, printers, copiers, and fax machines, and proficiency with software such as Microsoft Suite
- Knowledge of ATS preferred
- Comfort with and aptitude for learning new technology systems
- Demonstrated ability to “multi-task” and deliver high quality work

- Commitment to the use of restorative practices and a strength-based, youth development approach to student issues
- Ability to function well as part of a team and work independently
- Must be team-oriented, with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, a passion for serving at-risk youth, and a sense of humor
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Compensation: $52,710 to $74,395 annually based on years of experience and education.
