THE OPPORTUNITY Join an experienced team of institutional fundraisers dedicated to providing crucial fundraising and corporate partnerships that make our program possible for youth across five regions nationwide. The Development Coordinator role is a new position on the Summer Search National Institutional Fundraising Team that will support grant writing, corporate partnership fulfillment, and data management and coordination. Reporting to the Associate Director of Institutional Partnerships, this hire will have the opportunity to develop expertise within institutional fundraising and work with a diverse range of colleagues across all of Summer Search. WHAT YOU’LL DO The Development Coordinator serves primarily as a grant writer working alongside a Development Manager to steward a portfolio of institutional funders developing compelling proposals, fundraising content & grant reports, overseeing reporting in our grant calendar, corporate partnership fulfillment and supporting with overall data management and coordination for the Institutional Partnership Team (IPT). Specifically, the Development Coordinator will perform the following: Stewardship, Communication and Fundraising – 60%
Corporate Partnership Coordination 30%
Data Management & Administration – 10%

LOCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS This is a remote role with occasional in-person commitments required, including corporate volunteer meetings and special events. New hires must be residing in one of their following states by their first day of employment: California, Washington, Pennsylvania, New York, or Massachusetts. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Competitive and transparent salaries. This is a non-exempt position with hourly pay ranging from $37.58 - $39.87 (equivalent to $73,287- $77,750 annually). Summer Search is committed to transparent, equitable compensation practices. Salaries are benchmarked using current market data and salary bands are created to demonstrate the growth potential within the band.
