About the Role

The Program Associate for Collective Impact provides critical backbone support to the Aligned Funders on International Energy (ALFIE) funder network (“Network”), with a focus on ALFIE Network programming, communications, and member engagement. The Associate will support the planning and execution of high-quality in-person and virtual programming for the funder Network, as well as manage both individual and Network-wide communications to facilitate member onboarding and sustain ongoing engagement.

Responsibilities of the Position Include:

Network Coordination & Communications Support - 50%

Provide core coordination and communications support to ensure that the day-to-day Network activities run smoothly and have maximum impact, including:

  • Systems & Data Management:
    • Track Network member information in Salesforce, including contact information, Network participation, and 1:1 interactions
    • Run Salesforce reports to support member Network engagement tracking
    • Support Salesforce Administrator with basic back-end updates
  • Knowledge management:
    • Oversee security and management of Network materials on Box & Drive
    • Support documentation of internal backbone team and external Network processes, i.e. good practices for running a working group
  • Network communications:
    • Draft Network-wide emails and event invitation/reminder emails
    • Manage the Network Signal chat and leverage it to share relevant information
  • Member onboarding and ongoing member journey support
    • Support the onboarding process for new Network members, including sending an onboarding email and managing access to relevant platforms
    • Help track the member journey for existing Network members
    • Manage email inbox to respond to inbound questions and requests from Network members
  • Coordination support for Network calls:
    • Work with the backbone team and members of the Network to manage an annual Network calendar and schedule community calls, working group calls, and funder coordination calls
    • Manage communications, registration, and technical support for Network calls in partnership with the call lead(s)
    • Track call participation, key takeaways, relevant materials, and action items

In-Person Event Planning and Logistics - 40%

Help to plan and project manage all of the crucial details for in-person Network events, including the annual Network meeting and smaller convenings during climate weeks

  • Support in-person event logistics, vendor and venue sourcing and management, hotel room blocks, onsite coordination, food & beverage, and administration in partnership with Associate Director and when relevant, external event coordinators
  • Manage event registration and participant communications in CVENT
  • Support Associate Director in event project management, preparing meeting materials and content, speaker selection and preparations, and supporting event close-out (i.e. event evaluation analysis, team debrief, and event synthesis)
  • Serve as a point of contact for event participants to answer questions and provide support as needed for financial and travel assistance

Internal Administration, Staff Culture, Cross-cutting Organization Special Projects - 10%

  • Reflective of time spent participating in team and organization-wide meetings/retreats and internal processes/operations.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Collective Impact team and other Growald Climate Fund teams to share relevant Network information, opportunities to engage in Network activities, and answer questions
  • Participation in organization cross-cutting groups and/or special projects agreed upon by Program Associate and Manager

The starting salary range for this position is $88,000 - $93,000.

Compensation

Growald Climate Fund offers competitive salaries annually benchmarked against a thousand other philanthropic non profit grant making foundations.
