WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As Manager – Growth, Market Intelligence & Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic growth, ensuring business development success, and enabling cross-functional operational efficiency. Positioned within the oCRO team, your mission is to create scalable processes, generate actionable intelligence, and support revenue-generating activities that align with MGT’s ambitious growth trajectory.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Strategic Growth & Business Development
- Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of public procurement (“RFX”) processes to optimize yield from this strategic demand channel and expand market visibility and presence, including supervision of procurement specialists who source leads aligned to business unit capabilities.
- Identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities by analyzing trends in client demand, competitor activity, and internal performance data.
- Collaborate with sales, business units, and business development teams to develop competitive intelligence assets.
Market Intelligence & Insights
- Build and continuously refine MGT’s Center for Market Intelligence (“CMI”) framework to provide strategic insights to internal stakeholders to accelerate MGT’s growth.
- Build tools, dashboards, and workflows to streamline and automate repetitive or manual RFX and intelligence processes.
- Track, analyze and report on industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies relevant to MGT’s verticals.
- Deliver on-demand insights and custom research to executive leadership and various departments to enable faster, data-driven decision-making.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Internal Consulting
- Serve as an internal consultant by responding to ad hoc requests for data analysis, strategic insight, or process development across teams.
- Provide regular performance reports and market outlook briefings to senior leadership.
Process Optimization & Innovation
- Design, implement, and improve scalable internal processes that support data accuracy, business development responsiveness, and stakeholder enablement.
- Develop best practices and documentation to standardize market intelligence and operational workflows.
- Use CRM, BI tools, and project management platforms to drive accountability and performance tracking.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Five (5) or more years of experience in market intelligence, business development, strategy, or operations within professional services, consulting, or public sector markets.
- Proven track record of working with RFX and sales processes.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), proposal management tools, and BI platforms.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a process-driven mindset and attention to detail.
- Collaborative team player comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in public sector consulting or knowledge of government procurement processes.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Background in strategic planning, growth marketing, or corporate development.
- MBA or advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
