Position Summary:

The Program Recruitment Intern will support Generation Hope’s efforts to recruit volunteers, mentors, and Scholars for the Dallas Scholar Program. This role is ideal for someone interested in outreach, community engagement, communications, and nonprofit program recruitment.

The intern will assist with outreach communications, relationship-building with community partners, lead tracking, and administrative support related to the recruitment cycle. Interns will also complete a special project related to recruitment—such as designing outreach materials, improving workflows, or developing recruitment resources.

Candidates are expected to participate in this internship at least 20 hours per week for at least 15 weeks. Candidates who can volunteer additional time are preferable. You will receive an incentive of $2,250 for your participation in the internship program. This incentive is intended to support the costs you may incur during your internship at Generation Hope, such as childcare. Internships run January 2026-May 2026, with some flexibility on starting and ending dates. The internship will be largely remote with some in-person meetings and events. Interns must be located in Dallas County during the time of the internship.
