Location: This is a remote role. Candidates who live near CB offices have the option of being fully remote or hybrid (Tuesday and Wednesday in office). All CB employees are required to occasionally travel to meet in person for business purposes.

About the Team
The Recruitment & Enrollment Solutions (RES) team is comprised of dedicated and experienced professionals committed to the sales, support and long-term success of the College Board’s market-leading enrollment solutions. Through consultative engagement and customer success methodologies, the team supports more than 1,200 higher education institutions annually – providing strategic insights, adoption support and guidance on how to leverage the College Board’s Search & Connections suite to achieve enrollment goals.
About the Opportunity
The Associate Director, Business Solutions and Operations plays a key role in supporting operational excellence across the RES organization. This role focuses on ensuring the integrity, efficiency, and reliability of the systems, processes, and workflows that enable RES teams to deliver consistent, high-quality services to higher education partners.
In this role, you will act as a strategic operational contributor supporting cross-team project and program management planning, executing event logistics and delivery, maintaining internal knowledge and resource systems, and ensuring established workflows are followed consistently across the team. You will work closely with RES leadership and colleagues to support process alignment, strengthen communication pathways, and help operational plans translate into effective execution.
Your work directly supports sales, retention, partner success, and overall efficiency of the RES organization through strong planning, coordination, and follow-through.
In this role, you will:
Project & Program Management (60%)
Plan and coordinate cross-functional planning and execution of virtual and in-person client trainings, internal meetings, and promotional events, ensuring clear alignment, strong preparation, and smooth delivery.
Support operational excellence across events by anticipating logistical needs, preparing materials and run-of-show documentation, and completing post-event evaluation, follow-up and Salesforce documentation.
Manage key event logistics – including registration, invitations, presenter and stakeholder coordination, participant communication, and technical readiness – in partnership with RES teams responsible for content and program design.
Administer survey operations, including deploying surveys created by RES teams, managing distribution, monitoring response rates, synthesizing survey data, and preparing insights and recommendations for leadership.
Maintain and organize the RES internal document library, ensuring organized, current, and easily accessible resources that support RES teams.
Support the development and implementation of operational best practices, including SOPs, workflows and project tracking tools, and manage Monday.com boards to support visibility and on-time execution.
Operational Business Services Support (40%)
Identify opportunities for operational improvement, document process gaps, propose solutions, and support the implementation of process and system enhancements across the RES unit.
Serve as a point of coordination and operational support , assisting colleagues with processes, tools, cross-team coordination, and beta programming activities, including participant recruitment, communications, and logistics.
Develop and maintain a centralized RES knowledge and resource ecosystem, ensuring team members have reliable access to key tools, documentation and support assets.
Promote consistent operational practices by reinforcing established processes, supporting adoption of best practices, and helping colleagues navigate systems and workflows.
Monitor contract workflows within Salesforce to ensure timely progression, proactively identify bottlenecks, and coordinate with the appropriate subject matter experts when issues arise.
About You
Demonstrated experience in project and program management, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and support alignment and shared goals.
Strong operational and systems-thinking skills, with experience supporting the implementation of processes, SOPs, workflows, and established governance frameworks that improve efficiency and consistency.
Advance proficiency with operational tools such as Monday.com, Salesforce, Zooms, Slack and survey administration platforms.
Exceptional organizational and planning abilities, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities, anticipate needs and ensure timely, high-quality execution.
Experience administering or coordinating surveys, including managing deployment logistics, tracking response rates, and synthesizing findings.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, using data and operational insights to identify bottlenecks and recommend practical improvements.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to articulate processes clearly and support effective cross-team coordination.
A collaborative, relationship-driven approach, with the ability to support colleagues and contribute to effective cross-team coordination.
A commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence, with the initiative to help streamline workflows and support strong team performance.
Event support will require lifting boxes, packing and shipping items, standing for long periods of time.
A willingness to travel 3 – 5 times per year to support key events and team initiatives.
Exceptional candidates preferably have
A minimum of 3 – 5 years of project and/or program management experience.
Event planning experience.
Monday.com, Salesforce, Zoom, Calendly, Slack and survey administration platforms.
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

A Thoughtful Approach to Compensation
The hiring range for this role is $56,000–$95,000.
