The Sales Executive, K12 and ELT will achieve revenue targets for the defined territory through developing and maintaining sales to key primary K12 and ELT accounts, showcasing all applicable products and solutions in both digital and print forms.

What you'll do here:

  • Visit primary K12/ELT educational institutions within the assigned territory to showcase all applicable products and solutions in both digital and print forms.
  • Lead and support existing, and identify and advise on new distribution channels to grow print and digital sales in the designated markets.
  • Identifying new key accounts and business opportunities that lead to adoption and retention will also be a critical function of the role.
  • Collaborate with clients and distributors to capture and handle data for NGL/Cengage digital enrollment platforms promptly to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Achieve required daily and weekly call rates
  • Maintain up-to-date customer contact and activity data on Cengage CRM daily.
  • Employ CRM and market data to coordinate calling route to enhance effective time and resource management.
  • Collaborate with essential resellers, bookstores, and distributors, promoting new products and providing vital training.
  • Arrange, prepare and deliver presentations to key contacts or decision makers as required.
  • Identify significant new business and adoption opportunities and plan strategies and tactics to win the business.
  • Pursue all editorial leads, and pass these on to the relevant editor/marketing manager.
  • Monitor competitor activity across the region, including competitor key adoption activity, sales strategies and personnel.
  • Communicate effectively with Head of Sales on territory activities, key issues or opportunities, and competition through comprehensive and punctual monthly reporting.
  • Efficiently supervise all spending aspects in accordance with company regulations

Skills you will need here:

  • Fluency in English (native-speaker or near native speaker proficiency), and Arabic would be an advantage.
  • Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Proven track record of effective selling within the educational publishing industry and/or promoting digital and print materials through direct sales for a minimum of 1 year.
  • Experience of working in a K12 school environment and/or ELT preferably as a teacher or salesperson.
  • Experience of living and working in the relevant territory.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Highly motivated and well-organized individual with good time management and planning skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office, CRM, and database skills.
  • Clean driving license.
