This role will steward the LEARN Academies, guide strategic certification efforts, and lead on components of our regional pre-service training experience. They will also be a key contributor to our “Build Something Beautiful and Enduring” initiative, cultivating synergy across the educational ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about the job with the ability to expertly project manage, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and remain committed to educational excellence in Indiana. The goal is to ensure that educators across our network and landscape are equipped, empowered, and inspired to grow in their practice, and that our systems of support are equitable, accessible, and aligned with the needs of our local schools and communities.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

LEARN Academies (50%) - Drive the launch, iteration, and progress of TFA Indy’s four new professional development academies: the Accelerator Academy (for prospective educators); New Teacher Academy (for early career educators), Middle School Math Academy (for secondary math educators), and Leadership Academy (executive coaching for middle/senior-career education professionals). • Advocating for more certification pathways with Indiana’s General Assembly.

Pre-Service (15%) - Serve as a co-captain on the regional pre-service planning committee leveraging partnerships to land external facilitators (for CPR certification, CM Professional Development, community outings, and panel discussions, etc.), discounted/free meals, gifts, venues, and opportunities for incoming CMs, while strengthening our process of collaboration between our team and summer school partners.

“Build Something Beautiful and Enduring” Initiative (5%)- Through curiosity, listening, and collaborating with all our stakeholders internal and external, (1) seek out opportunities to develop deeper synergy and interdependence within our landscape and team; and (2) unstick sticky problems that can be solved through short-term, single-issue partnerships and long-term, multifaceted coalition building.
